Yes! All Go Raw products are made with simple, minimally-processed, whole ingredients that come from plants—such as pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, coconuts, puffed whole grains, herbs, and spices.

Go Raw's sprouting process mimics nature's germination process to “activate” our seeds. Sprouting helps break down phytic
acid, a natural plant compound often called an “anti-nutrient” due to its negative effects on mineral absorption, unlocking the
nutrients in seeds so they're easier for your body to absorb and easier to digest.

We've also recently refined our sprouting
process to be even gentler on the seeds, helping them better retain their delicate outer skin. Learn More

Yes! About 90% of our products - organic sprouted seeds - have always been, and still are, minimally processed using
simple, recognizable ingredients.

As we've grown, we've expanded our lineup to include snacks like our Snacking Granola, Snacking Crisps, and Super Crunch Seeds that bring the same sprouted-seed foundation to a wider range of tastes. When we develop these innovative snacks, we stay true to our founding mission of simple, minimally processed ingredients wherever possible. In a few recipes, that means ingredients like cane sugar, agave nectar, or brown rice syrup — used sparingly, and always sourced from suppliers who meet our organic standards.

Go Raw’s products are free of most major allergens: gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, fish, and shellfish. However, some Go Raw products do contain coconut, sesame and soy.

Because Go Raw product lines are produced in different facilities, they have different allergen disclosures:

• Seeds: Manufactured in a facility that also processes tree nuts, wheat, soy, sesame, milk, and eggs.
• Snacking Granola: CONTAINS COCONUT. Manufactured in a facility that also processes eggs, peanuts, wheat, soy, milk, tree nuts and sesame.
• Snacking Granola: CONTAINS SESAME. Manufactured in a facility that also processes eggs, milk, wheat, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts.
  

While these products are made in the same facilities and sometimes share lines with other products containing allergens, Go Raw conducts deep cleaning and allergen swabbing between production runs to guard against cross-contamination.

The term GMO stands for Genetically Modified Organism, and we, at Go Raw, do not use ingredients that have had their genetic material, or DNA, deliberately altered to carry new traits.

Yes, all Go Raw products are certified organic by Organic Certifiers.

Yes, since all Go Raw products are certified organic, they are naturally non-GMO, but we go the extra step to verify our items with the Non-GMO Project.

Yes, all Go Raw products are certified gluten-free by GFCO.

While the majority of Go Raw products are vegan-friendly, honey is used in a few recipes (such as our Hot Honey Snacking Crisps) that do not make them vegan.

Those dark spots and pieces are bits of skin from the seeds and are completely normal. When we soak and sprout our seeds,
the kernels sometimes break open, causing the skin to come off. Once dehydrated, those pieces get crispy and delicious, but causes them to turn dark.

In nature, seeds germinate and start to grow into plants, known as sprouting. Go Raw seeds are soaked and sprouted to activate this process, but we halt the process just before our seeds start to grow visible shoots and split apart.

Our seeds are soaked for 12 to 16 hours, depending on the recipe, then slowly dehydrated below 130°F. Dehydration times vary by product.

A natural sea salt with trace minerals and no additives. It's not iodized, and it's not Celtic sea salt. We source it off the coast of Spain, in the Mediterranean.

Yes, our 14oz Unsalted Super Simple Seeds are a pumpkin and sunflower blend with zero added sodium.

No, we don't add any oils to our sprouted seeds. The only oils present are the ones naturally occurring in the seeds themselves.

They can be used interchangeably! Generally, “pumpkin seeds” refers to the in-shell seed, while “pepitas” refers to the green kernel inside (also called shelled pumpkin seeds). Go Raw uses the Cucurbita Pepo variety, not the hull-less Styrian variety some brands use.

Yes! Our sprouted pumpkin seeds are simply soaked to unlock their nutrients, then lightly salted and dehydrated at low temperatures. Every batch is tested by a third-party lab for microbiological safety and isn't released until it clears, on top of our own internal quality checks.

Once opened, keep your seeds sealed in their original packaging or in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

You can also freeze or refrigerate them to extend freshness by about a month. Because seeds are high in natural oils, we recommend enjoying them before the Best By date on the bag for the best taste and quality.

Our flexible pouches use several layers of food-grade material to keep seeds fresh, which unfortunately makes standard curbside recycling difficult.

Some retailers (including Costco) collect flexible plastic packaging separately for recycling — look for the How2Recycle icon on the bag.

Recyclable packaging is a major initiative for us: we're actively testing new materials and will switch over as soon as we find an option that holds up to the 12-month shelf life our products need.

We work with specialty distributors like UNFI and KeHE, plus retailers and select eCommerce partners such as Amazon, Thrive Market, and iHerb. We're not actively expanding our wholesale network right now, but reach out via Contact Us with any partnership questions.
